Obama said the helicopter he has now seems adequate, adding that he never had a helicopter before and "maybe I've been deprived and I didn't know it."
Obama said he has already talked to Defense Secretary Robert Gates about reviewing the program and its ballooning costs.
"It is an example of the procurement process gone amok, and we're going to have to fix it," Obama said.

Clownpuncher,
Great catch! Now, for extra credit, would you care to explain the grammatical errors in the following sentence?
“If you start smelling poop, chances are good an environmentalist or a Liberal are near.”
As the sentence is your current.com quote, I feel that you should have the first stab at providing an explanation. You may want to look up how subjects and verbs agree with each other. Play nice clownpuncher, and try not to be petty.

"Losser" is a word stupid people use when television puts ideas in their heads that they're smart, when clearly, they aren't.

Ares:
Ares,
Please do some research on how to use “that” for introducing a restrictive (or defining) relative clause. On your page, you state that your intention for logging onto current.com is to be informed; however, you resort to childish behavior instead of engaging in mature, and relevant, discourse. Stop being petty, and play nice.

Ares:
sometimes - No, I found no typo aside from yours, which was quoted. Neither did Microsoft Word.
justaguy - Get off your high horse, perhaps you should do some research of your own regarding synonyms for "petty," as to avoid using it in such high frequency.
Indeed, I come here to be informed. What that reference has to do with my commentary on an article (which I am guessing you did not bother to read) eludes me. Perhaps my comment had a more intricate agenda? Is it not possible, nay, probable that I was utilizing transference to simultaneously comment on the content of the article, as well as the character of the user that posted it? Go take some aspirin and think about it.
As for your attempted English lesson, the above clause does not allow use of "which" or "who," and rhythmic succession of the sentence allows for use of the word "that." You're not the only person who went to college.
Try not to be so conceited.

Ares:
You are correct that the "rhythmic succession of the sentence allows for use of the word "that". Now, with that being pointed out, please go back and read you sentence again. After doing so, I would request that you inform me as to what word you omitted. I never mentioned anything about non defining relative clauses and the use of "which".
I did read the article, and I agree that it had little to do with McCain being a loser. I have no qualms with you regarding the content of the article. I do have a problem with your immature approach to disagreeing with the view of the person responsible for the post. You chose to attack the person for a typo instead of the content of the article.
I admit that there was a tone of conceitedness in my reply to you; it was my was intention to come off in that manner. I chose to be a prick in order to illustrate how people who pick on others for obvious typos are "petty".

Ares:
You can chalk it to me picking on the schoolyard bully. Also, you need to tighten up on your psychology before you "utilize transference", because you utilized the term incorrectly. What new, or different object, were you projecting your feelings onto? Now, that comment was me being conceited, and picking on you for no reason.
