America's future? Is it the one you want?

The overpopulation of the United States isn't for us, We The People, it's for the benefit of those evil (ignorant) people in evil (make that ignorant) corporations, period. There is no other justification for it.

"America's future"? The population is already over 300 million. Is this country that far worse than in the 70s?
But don't worry, after we immigrants take over the country, we'll make sure that you have your own White reservations (a la Indian reservations).

WTF! Is this for real? VoagerFilms writes disapprovingly of what causes: "citizenry to evade their natural instinct of "preservation of the species"."
Sorry we're not breeding enough for a Soviet Hero of Motherhood award, or enrolled in the Nazi SS program to impregnate as many blonde blue-eyed frualines as possible.
Voyager argues that big business is too busy making money to notice lowering native U.S. birth rates. Not so, really. It's something the Economist, among others, frets about, and does articles on constantly. Doesn't matter if it's Italy, or Japan, or the U.S., forward looking Big Business is always obliged to: 1) keep expanding the market pool, and 2) making sure that current productive workers can pay for the costs of the workers exiting "productive" capacity.
He thinks, somewhat incoherently, that the debasement of our "civilized" society will allow "the hordes to invade."
Psst., secret:
(to paraphrase Walt Kelly,)
We have met the hordes, and they are us... - 3 years ago

Just curious, what would the argument for allowing the scale of immigration the Bush administration allowed be?
From other sources, I've heard various rational. Primarily it goes like this: if we are to compete with China and India in a variety of ways, we need to increase our population, not a little but a lot.
Clearly the birth rate of US citizens has been dropping in the US. Curiously or not so curiously but still worthy and necessary to note is that in all countries that develop into a "modern" industrialized society, the birth rate declines.
It is important to ask the question "why?" If you are a CEO and only care about getting your bonus next year or seizing on more opportunities to make profits, control the market place or dominate the world, you don't give a rats ass about "why?".
If you care to live in a good and decent society, you should ponder the value system or set of values of a society which causes or leads increasing numbers of it's citizenry to evade their natural instinct of "preservation of the species".
The decline in the birth rate is a natural byproduct of a system which has gone astray, lost it's direction. Trouble is, those people who seek power and money don't care and aren't aware there is a problem - and so devise ways to circumvent what is a healthy societies natural cycle by allowing the hordes to invade.
We can see this avoidance mentality manifest in all aspects if people's lives leading to alcoholism, drugs, sexual dysfunction, obsession, cancer and other ailments. Hey, I just described the America.

I, myself, don't see this as "anti-Mexican immigration rant." Numbers are numbers.
I'd happily trade the population of several U.S. Bible Belt states for the honest, hardworking, courteous, and skillful immigrants I've worked with from Mexico, or for that matter, from Asia and Europe as well.
The knee-jerk reaction to even reviewing the effects of population change, whether through birth rate or immigration, is, to put it mildly, NOT HELPFUL.
The touted recent reduction in immigration is illusionary. It's effect is slight if it exists (please cite actual numbers) and temporary.
Unless you are one of the very, very, few who personally and directly benefit from mass immigration and a high birth rate by way of cheap labor to produce your goods, or as an ever-increasing market pool to sell those goods in, no sane person would avoid thinking about the impact population has on our lives, our society, and our world.
It is not a border issue. It is not a race issue. It is an issue of survival. - 3 years ago

this is an extremely flawed argument, and he is pandering fear.
what people like this fail to take into account is that we are all immigrants in this country, and this is nothing more than an anti-Mexican immigration rant.
Not a solution to what ails us in this country, just a cheap shot that ignores the historical context of Mexican immigration.

no doubt. immigration grew so rapidly because of economic trade policies we bullied other nations into implementing that gave our businesses huge advantages but shut down their own economies forcing them to come work in America (for cheap where they can be victimized at will).
the funny thing is he's using a predicition that's logically flawed. immigration will stabilize as world economics stabilize. immigration rates are reversing currently with the US economy being so shitty.
...I agree with what he's saying only for different reasons. We need to teach third world nations how to effectively limit their own population growth AND implement new, fair, trade policies with them (which will reduce US immigration).
or we could just start more wars and see how many we can kill off all in one go...
