This guy's idea that the struggle with the Jews is Eternal is very indicative of what America must now face. AIPAC has put our country in this position by influencing the votes and policies of so many of our government leaders. Because America is so enmeshed with Israeli defense, it by virtue of its association now entering into their holy war. The fight against the US is going to be Eternal, unless voices of reason prevail.

That is the job of the moderates of the world. They are actually the majority, but they can sometimes be easily swayed when shocking things happen in the world. Fear is the biggest motivator that makes these people perform their assigned task or role.

On an individual basis we must break out of the cycle of fear in order to think rationally. It is possible to find common ground and build alliances on mutual trust. Now I'm not in any way trying to imply our movement in Iraq was comparable to 9/11. But rather trying to show how its important to look at more than just the most emotion-stirring evidence of a culture and people before we decide if it is, or is not feasible to create friendly relations.

I flew into Atlanta Saturday, found ALL Trams were down, No AC and constant paging of "Terror Alert Orange". I had to walk a mile with throngs of people , some of which were stopped due to exhaustion. They have an 'underground" grid for the Trams and my son says he has never seen them ALL lose power before. I was impressed with security with a eye to eye-3 sec contact before you walked in. We have come a long way. If I had batted an eye, I probably would have been dragged into a room.
