Focus on the Family Ad: DENIED!

injektilokid
Yes, this shit is still happening. The language of the ad seems nonabrasive, but the rhetoric behind the ad, the conference, and the movement is deeply rooted in bigotry. At least the folks at the San Antonio Express news has the balls to call the ad for what it is: Bigoted and hate-mongering propaganda .

From the Article:
The avid and active anti-gay group, Focus on the Family has their panties in a wad again, this time over being denied an ad spot for an upcoming conference on “overcoming homosexuality.” So, they are staging a protest outside the San Antonio Express-News for denying printing the ad.

    • Wait...you are trying to claim that a private corporation (not an extension of the government - the San Antonio Express news) denying an add amounts to an assault on freedom of speech???

I've got a clue for you unclecharlie, how about reading the Constitution and Bill of Rights before commenting next time.

    • Denying a print ad for Focus on the Family. Ha! Ha! All you people who preach diversity and tolerance can...nevermind. Here is a fine example of the assault on freedom of speech, and freedom of religion, by bigots who claim to practice diversity. Hypocrites! Ant Christian bigotry is all the rage. If it disagrees with the homosexual lifestyle, it is not simple disagreement. It is raised to the level of "homophobia", and the ones who question such behavior, like FOTF, are "homophobes". Simply because they dare to
      disagree......
