Video footage posted on YouTube.com shows police officers repeatedly hitting a suspect in the face with there fists during an arrest three months ago has triggered an FBI investigation. Video shows two officers holding down William Cardenas, 24, on a Hollywood street as one punches him several times in the face before they are able to handcuff him. The struggling suspect yells repeatedly "I can't breathe!"

    • In my opinion one of our collective problems is lumping in a general population in the heat of offense.

Police are people. In all groups of people there are varying degrees of good and bad. Why stupidity exists in the first place seems an altogether different question.

And just as we don't see positive stories of enlightenment on the 5 O' Clock News it's likely we also don't see the positive stories on the many police officers that are an entirely positive contribution to our collective objective of this ideal civilization we are attempting to build.

Situations like the two videos above are examples of individuals making mistakes, not a collective whole.

Law enforcement is a civil collective, not a branch of the military.

If marijuana is legalized the proper respect of our ideal law enforcement will flourish within our culture and teach us all again that we are part of the same civil collective.

And this legalization must be brought to the level where free citizens in upstanding reputation can grow at least up to 5 pounds, yes pounds keep reading - because it takes two pounds of quality cannabis indica to produce a few ounces of a medicinal quality hemp oil which is known to repair cellular damage. Meaning cancer.

      > Look up Rick Simpson and Run for the Cure.

Law enforcement reading this, please personally begin to omit attention to the application of marijuana infractions of your fellow citizens. The black market this bad law creates serves only to line the pockets of unscrupulous characters and by proxy funds other dangerous and illegal activities. Verily. It also serves as the highest barrier between the division of law enforcement and non-law enforcement civilians - particularly our youth.

Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for your consideration.

    • This is just tip of iceberg, the abuse of power has gone on long enough. People need to wake up, this is not an isolated incident. Its just the one you saw today. The whole government has gotten way out of control. I have a bad feeling that a revolution is coming and their weapons of choice won't be guns and bombs, they will be famine and disease with a side of "economic collapse". How long will it take for people to realize that they could be the next person being beat on videotape? Giving the right circumstances, provocation won't even be neccessary. Their justification, he's a terrorist or a right-wing extremist thats a danger to the public. It won't stop until "WE" the people, make it stop.

    • they should be brought before a wall and executed. i'm against capital punishment for civilians, but when you have a duty to uphold the law and you violate that and abuse your power you should be executed.

      end of story.
