We already know that the United States tortures, the question is, will the United States prosecute?

salviad
There is something strange going on in The United States of America right now. I believe what we are witnessing is the transition of a society from a state of denial to a state of acceptance, and nowhere is this transformation more pronounced than regarding the debate about torture.

Watching citizens of the United States discuss their administrations use of torture is like listening to a schizophrenic’s internal monologue. The following video is a very good illustration of this...

For those who may still be in a state of denial, then please consider watching the following two award winning documentaries: ‘The Road to Guantanamo’ and ‘Taxi to the Dark Side’.

They should bring an end to the debate on whether the United States tortures or not, and move us towards a reconciliation, which should most definitely include international war crimes tribunals to prosecute everyone that was involved in or facilitated this practice. Anyone, including Barack Obama, that chooses to protect these war criminals should be held accountable for their incompetence.
