“Israel leveling sanctions against the United States”–It sounds like a skit on Saturday Night Live or some theme in a science fiction story that defies all known norms of reality.

Nevertheless, that is exactly what has been proposed recently by at least one well-known minister of Knesset, Yossi Peled of Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party.

    • It's just hasbara propaganda for the hardcore Zionists. Obama is owned by pro-Israeli interests so anything he does will be pre-approved and sanctioned by them.

      Personally I think that there are a lot of powerful Zionists who are against the illegal settlements, but at the end of the day, it's just Obama who is going to be the patsy and bear the brunt of Israeli's anger if Netanyahu is forced to go along with ending the settlements.

      In a sign of growing concern in Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's government over US President Barack Obama's Middle East policies, Minister-without-Portfolio Yossi Peled proposed Israeli sanctions on the US in a letter to cabinet ministers on Sunday.

      In the 11-page letter, obtained by The Jerusalem Post from a minister on Monday, Peled recommends steps Israel can take to compensate for the shift in American policy, which he believes has become hostile to Israel.

      Fuck Israel. what the hell do they think they can do to us. It's high time WE issue sanctions against them and not let up until they quit slaughtering innocent people.
      In fact I don't ever see any reason to ever go back to giving our hard earned money to those terrorists.
