Part two of two films documenting the UK Tamil protests that spanned six months, as the final surge by Sri Lankan forces against the Tamil Tigers killed tens of thousands of innocent Tamil civilians and left 300,00 displaced, locked in barbed wire refugee camps.

    • An excellent documentary, especially showing the economic international interests in Sri Lanka and the BBC's deliberate underreporting of numbers in full view.

      Is it more than economic interests that lie behind this though? Doesn't Britain see Sri Lanka as their golden child. European ethnologists declared the Sinhalese to be Aryans during colonial rule, and since then the Sinhalese have gone on this rampage of asserting racial supremacy, just like Hitler used Aryan supremacy to kill Jews. But the Europeans didn't discredit Aryan supremacist beliefs anywhere else after they defeated the Nazis - they still act like the Sinhalese are racially more cultured and superior, they can do no wrong, even when they are killing thousands of Tamils. Instead the British media and government blames the genocide of Tamils on Tamils themselves.
