Strippers make more money while ovulating?

WOW! Something I really didn't know: Psychologist Geoffrey Miller and colleagues tapped the talent at local gentlemen's clubs and counted tips made on lap dances. Dancers made about $70 an hour during their peak period of fertility, versus about $35 while menstruating and $50 in between.

    • Much of this could be accounted for with the fact (or so other studies say) that women are much more aggressive and in the hunt for a mate during times of ovulation. Those same studies also say that a woman's taste in men changes during ovulation. It all makes sense of course if you believe us to be evolutionary beings, b/c the same things are true for most species in the animal kingdom.

      On a side note I never pay my strippers, I mean exotic dancers, anything over $35. I just can't be a party to promoting such a culturally unhealthy institution. Besides I need to save some more for the daily lunch tip at Hooters.
