Steph, this is absolutely a wonderful short. I was recently diagnosed with depression; I feel everything you speak of...lack of motivation...i could hide from the world (and I often do). Like you, I force myself to be social. I don't know if it's for me or for the people who love me.
I'm pulling for your recovery and success. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. you are a beautiful woman, inside and out; this comes across clearly in your film...whether you meant for it to or not.

Great work on this one Stephanie. It could probably be shorter but I know how hard it is to edit out your feelings and emotions. And its only because the video is so small but some of the text in the journals were hard to read. (Nice penmanship by the way). Great job!

This piece has nice steady pace that really brings out the emotions of the girl. It also set the mood for the overall piece. I would like to see a much shorter, tighter version of this piece that really just hits on her as a person dealing with depression and how it's taken such a toll on her everyday life. I think it needs more b-roll with movement. Just to keeo your audience's attention. I like the b-roll of her taking the pills. That fact that she had to take so many was a little disturbing. I think the overall concept was good and I look forward to seeing a shorter version of this pod!
