Vierotchka
Jesse Ventura, the former governor of Minnesota, ex Navy Seal Vietnam Veteran, Demolition Expert and an avid spokesperson for 911 Truth.

The governor takes on a swarm of media in the footage below for about 30 minutes. This is a pretty intense interview!

(The first 2 minutes aren’t worth watching, it’s just someone walking around with a camera. Fast forward about 2 minutes to get to the interview.)

    • Ha. The 'journalist' who posted above is a dunce cop out just like the journalists in the video.

Is it because people are afraid to say i? That 9/11 was allowed and helped along by our very own government.

These so called conspiracy theories have much more valid evidence than any of the crap that the media and the Bush administration have given us.

Why on Earth did we invade Iraq whe the 'Terrorists' who flew the planes were supposed to be in Afghanistan.

What about the war on terror>>>>operation Iraqi freedom
none of it makes any sense!
We all sit and believe the lies. Even though they don't add up.

      think about it.

Frankly, every one of them is worth a thousand times better than you and have total credibility, of which you certainly don't have the first scintilla.

    • The complexity of the conspiracy typically alleged by theorists is enough for me to disbelieve it. When I ponder the amount of time and energy it would have taken, and the incredible number of people who would have to be involved, it just gets too difficult to believe. Not because I don't believe politicians aren't capable of such actions.

I don't think they could be so incredibly stupid as to create something so incredibly over-complicated as this while simultaneously being as smart as to actually pull it off. Especially considering that I can easily come up with a dozen ways to accomplish the same thing. Why would I fool around with missiles and fake airliners and phony cell phone calls and military strikes and on and on and on when I could get the same result with so much less?

For example. I could give Osama bin Ladin $100 million or so to conduct the attacks. Or if that was too risky, we could hire some obscure terrorist somewhere and offer to make him the most elevated terrorist on Earth in exchange for putting it all together...and $100 million. I could do this with two or three people and a wire transfer.

If I had wired the WTC buildings with explosives in 1993, as has been alleged, why would I fool around with airliners and all of the added risk? All I have to do is detonate it and manufacture evidence against some terrorists. Heck, if I really wanted media attention and to avoid casualties, I would take a cue from Hollywood and call in the bomb threat so they'd evacuate the building first. That would also ensure there were a ton of BetaCams being pointed at the building when it blew up. And I wouldn’t have to worry about forging all those air quality studies to show there’s no explosive residue anywhere in the air around the WTC towers either.

Even if I were intent on the aircraft-flying-into-the-WTC method for my conspiracy, I would have an engineer or two run some numbers to see if one plane would do the job. If my numbers came up short, why not have two airliners strike each building? Or four? If I’m already expending the sort of money and time in this thing as alleged, adding a few more jetliners would seem to be a trivial matter.

I think I might also pick buildings to which I had more easy access as a government conspirator. Planting explosives inside the Washington monument would seem to be much easier than in a privately owned building. Then again, I wouldn’t have been using explosives in the first place; I would have just used more planes.

If any of the above did happen, all of the noise generated by conspiracy theorists is a wonderful cover story. And wouldn’t it be ironic if there is a conspiracy and the very people who are making the most noise about it are the very people who are doing the most to keep the truth hidden.

The road to truth cannot be constructed on a foundation of lies and untruths.

I dont question 9/11 it happened, the building are gone. But IMHO the motives of that action is what I question. The 79 election was resolved when the Iranians (thanks to the dealings of the republicans) freed the hostages, Americans tend to rally after ephemeral things and forget about the substance.

Same in 9/11. False claims or not the action induced a reaction in this case an unjust war. Again Americans forgot the substance.

I more or less agree. The problem is, many 9/11 conspiracy theorists use the exact same tactics in trying to convince people that their theories are true or are based on fact. Most conspiracy theorist's claims about 9/11 are based on exactly the same type of blind faith and biased analysis G.W. Bush used to substantiate his claim that there were WMDs in Iraq. Exaggeration and half-truths and speculation and wild guesses are no more useful in trying to find out the truth behind 9/11 than they were in finding out about the truth behind WMDs in Iraq.

Ironically, the people who speak out the loudest against these tactics when Bush uses them seem to be the same people that turn right around and use them in their own arguments against Bush.

Maybe a big part of my view is that I don't need a 9/11 conspiracy theory to convince me that our wars on Iraq and Afghanistan are unjustified and illegal invasions of sovereign nations. The Constitution and laws of the US and the UN Charter give me all the information I need to know that these wars are illegal and unjustified. I can find plenty of criminal acts by the Bush Administration without having to buy into fantastic theories based on deceptions and untruths.

    • ...as for the stupid wacko theories found about 9-11... it is but a simple divide & conquer ploy as old as anything this side of Edward Bernays...

      Let me explain something here:

Psychological operations (PSYOP) are operations planned to convey selected information and indicators to foreign audiences to influence their emotions, motives, objective reasoning, and ultimately the behavior of foreign governments, organizations, groups, and individuals. (it works exactly the same internally for local consuption )

PSYOP are a vital part of the broad range of US political, military, economic, and informational activities. When properly employed, PSYOP can lower the morale and reduce the efficiency of enemy forces and could create dissidence and disaffection within their ranks. There are four categories of military PSYOP; strategic, operational, tactical, and consolidation PSYOP, which are used to establish and reinforce foreign perceptions of US military, political, and economic power and resolve.

The principles of developing PSYOP apply across the range of military operations. Although the complexity of the methodology varies with the target audiences, basic considerations for development of all PSYOP actions are the same. Actions essential to successful PSYOP are: a clearly defined mission; analysis of all targets; actions that are evaluated for psychological implications; a reliable medium or media for transmission; rapid exploitation of PSYOP themes; and continual evaluation of the results of PSYOP for relevance to the mission and goals. Intelligence, counterintelligence, command, control, communications, and computers systems (C4), and logistics support military PSYOP and are invaluable for the success of such actions.

PSYOP techniques are used to plan and execute truth projection activities [As per the 911 Truth Movement] intended to inform foreign groups and populations persuasively. . . PSYOP messages must be coordinated with counterintelligence planners and operators, with military deception planners, and with operations security planners to ensure that essential secrecy is realized, counterintelligence operations are not compromised, and messages reinforce the desired appreciations of counterintelligence and deception as well as PSYOP plans.

      4) http://www.heatherwokusch.com/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=128

May I suggest that the 9-11 PSYOP has been an almost total success ?

    • Dear _thejournalist_,

please consider changing your name /handle, the attitude you've just displayed is an insult to a profession already in severe bad shape, to any inquiring mind and the universal right to question authority ;)

"It is the absolute right of the State to supervise the formation of public opinion."
      - Dr. Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Minister of Propaganda

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it." - Goebbels

"The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State." - Goebbels

    • Questioning and doubting are one thing. Making up false claims as a way of "proving" someone else's false claims is not terribly effective, in my opinion.

If the 9/11 conspiracy movement is indeed interested in searching for the truth, they should start by giving up on the stuff they claim that simply cannot be true. As long as the 9/11 conspiracy movement insists on supporting things that have been thoroughly disproved or that simply cannot be true, they will continue to struggle getting any serious attention from the media or their fellow Americans. The truth is not revealed through deception, lies, misstatements, exaggeration, faux-science, speculation, and blind faith.

If there was a conspiracy behind 9/11, the 9/11 conspiracy movement is doing the conspirators a great service by helping them cover up the real conspiracy with a bunch of unrealistic nonsense.

    • "“What caused me to have my first doubting of 9/11 was when the president announced we were gonna invade Iraq.” "In other words, he decided there was a conspiracy before he ever began looking at the evidence. And his doubts had nothing to do with the actual events on 9/11. "

Well that warrants doubt, doesn't it? We know now and its well documented, That Irak had nothing to do with the attacks or Al Qaeda, So yes, why did they make the (false)case? and when everybody in the world raised the question (on why invading Iraq) the white house simply said "FU because we can."

Not long ago I saw the last interview with Benshair Butto with none other than David Frost, and she said in a very natural way that Osama Bin Laden was killed by the factions that wanted to kill her. Of course we know what was her destiny.

It would not surprise me if they pull the body of Bin Laden in October and tell the Americans that victory has been achieved, and like the soviets did 30 years ago leave Afganistan in shambles.

Sorry, but just like he Jessy said, McNamara (then secretary of "war" for Nixon) publicly admitted that Vietnam was a crass mistake. That the Golf of Tonkin was a creation to advocate for war. 9/11 could be no different.

    • Jesse’s funny. He doesn’t know the difference between and interview and a debate. He doesn’t even really talk about why anyone should believe a conspiracy; he just rags on people who don’t share his opinion. He claims there are “unanswered” questions but what he’s really saying is that any answer that doesn’t fit his theories is not an answer.

“What caused me to have my first doubting of 9/11 was when the president announced we were gonna invade Iraq.”

In other words, he decided there was a conspiracy before he ever began looking at the evidence. And his doubts had nothing to do with the actual events on 9/11.

It’s a shame Jesse has bought into all of the simplistic lies of the 9/11 conspiracy movement. He comes across looking like a fool when he tries to argue engineering subjects about which he obviously knows nothing. It’s obvious he’s passionate about the subject; it’s a shame he has chosen to avoid educating himself about the lies he’s helping spread.

    • Path_o_Logic:

One example: Pieces of flight 93 found 5 miles from the crash site. The stuff that was found the farthest from the crash site were pieces of paper and small pieces of fabric. They were found at Indian Lake, 1.5 miles from the crash site. It was originally reported as being 5 miles based on an online map service that calculated the driving distance between the two points. If you drive by road, it’s 5 miles. If you travel on the wind, it’s less than two miles. This error was discovered within a day or two after it was reported but conspiracy theorists have been using the 5 mile figure ever since.

Another example. Jesse’s also claims that the “official story” is that WTC-7 collapsed solely due to fire and that is completely false. The official story and every unofficial engineering analysis report I’ve read said it was a combination of the fires and the massive destruction caused by one of the other towers falling on it. Most engineers think the ten-story hole in the building contributed significantly to the collapse. Considering that it took out as much as 25% of the bottom ten floors, it seems to be a relevant bit of information.

Yep. it looks like a plane crash to me. It evidently looks like a crash site to most aviation experts, too. But what does that have to do with Jesse Ventura's false claim that aircraft debris was found five miles from the crash site?

Similarly, the issue I raised wasn't about WTC-7, it was about Jesse Ventura's false claim that the "official" story is that fire alone caused the collapse of WTC-7. Whether you believe the dozens of eyewitnesses who reported the damage or not is immaterial. The "official" story includes the gaping ten-story tall hole. Jesse claimed it did not.

Whether you believe WTC-7 collapsed by fire or not or if Flight 93 actually crashed in a field in Pennsylvania or not is immaterial to my point. My point is that Jesse Ventura was not speaking the truth in his statements.

You say that Jesse is a fool and he's spreading false statements about 911. You are truly a jack-ass. The man said repeatedly he was asking questions. And furthermore, what 10 story hole in building 7 are you talking about? I've seen many pictures/videos, but never a 10 story hole. Besides that, buildings don't fall in on their own footprint in 6 seconds unless it is a controlled demolition, point blank. I've been in construction (residential and commercial) for 10 years and witnessed many demolitions and that was a controlled demolition. Also (if you still don't believe), Larry Silverstein, the owner of WTC, went on PBS and said that they had to "pull it".

    • Ventura stopped being a fan of local news media during his term as the governor of Minnesota and this, somewhat hostile, interview session showed why, yet he managed to make some valid points along the way.
One thing was the, "go along to get along", aspect of the latest slew of elected officials in DC, which is just how I feel about them, excluding Kucinich, Wexler and the late, great, Paul Wellstone.
The "Coke or Pepsi" description of the two party system lock-down had a good ring to it. He was right about 1992 and Ross Perot effectively being the end of multiple party presidential debates. In my lifetime, I would love to see the debates turned back over to The League of Women Voters to give us more voices and more choices.
As for further investigations into what's come to be known as "9/11"? Yes. I side with the many family members who want to know exactly what happened leading up to and including that day. I have the right to keep asking questions based on an administration that has, over the past seven years, shown themselves to be fully capable of lying outright in ongoing attempts to hide crucial information leading to full disclosure and accountability.
You're right, Jesse. We must keep asking questions.
