Many of you have asked me to comment on the Ft. Hood shootings. I have been too pissed off to do so and needed to cool off before responding.

Yes, the traffic officer who responded, acted heroically, and deserves a Medal of Valor for her bravery in taking hits to her thighs and wrist, yet standing her ground focusing on the front sight and ending the fight with four good hits. I applaud her actions and courage under fire.

BUT WHY THE HELL DID SHE EVEN NEED TO BE THERE?

WHY does a police officer have to save SOLDIERS on a military base?

Who is the moronic bureaucrat that came up with the idea that our own military must be disarmed on military installations?

WHO is it that made that decision? When you find out, THAT is the person responsible for all the deaths at Ft. Hood because had our military personnel been armed, as they should be, the response to a lone psychopath attempting to inflict mayhem would have been swift and sure! One dead terrorist, hit multiple times from multiple armed soldiers.

The Swiss and the Israelis must think we are absolute idiots to allow such a thing to happen.
