MUSCAT: A blood donation camp, conducted at Badr Al Samaa Hospital under the joint aegis of the Karnataka Muslims’ Forum (KMF) and the Karavali Kannadigara Okkuta, has been a great success.
According to Abdul Hameed of KMF, the blood donation camp was held from 2pm to 7pm on 18th April.
The need to enhance awareness about blood donation was also emphasised at the camp.
Hameed said the level of awareness about the life-saving activity should be enhanced so that many precious lives could be saved.
“The fact that a large number of people came to donate blood suffices to say that people are willing to donate blood. But, what is needed is an awareness about the importance of donating blood,” Hameed said.
Jahangir, speaking at the end of the camp, said welfare activity always found acceptance from Allah.
Amanullah also spoke on the occasion.
