During this troubled times when people are finding themselves homeless, moneyless, bankrupt, debt ridden and with no hope (or at least some hope). There is but one place where most of us look towards (iono about atheists), that is up towards GOD.
So, it seems to be the case that the financial troubles has not only brought times of depression and suffering, it has brought times of praying along with it.
As it says in the article "...since September, pastors nationwide say they have seen such a burst of new interest that they find themselves contending with powerful conflicting emotions - deep empathy and quiet excitement.
Reverend A.R. Bernard said: "When people are shaken to the core, it can open doors."
