I know the ad you are talking about think you are off the cuff!!!, this site is about young creatives making themselves heard by the big player and showing this with there experimentations and new techniques, people have been adapting and re-cycling ideas for years mate ( did halo copy the film TOY SOILDERS?)
thats done in the same style and made way before the halo ad plus the halo ad has no animation techniques like this ad, andddd...if you look the figues they are WW2!!! not the future
PLUS......
Halo 3 had a nice budget for that ad and a full team with production!!! this was made by 3 guys from the NE UK on a shoe string budget...OK it never reached that level but at lease its a start...

I kno your inspiration was the Halo 3 figurine commerical but that was on a level your ad can never reach.
