I like the idea that as humans, and being part of the natural world, we have a responsibility for our actions. Darwins theory of evolution doesn't relate to technology, which can, and has, caused problems for the blue planet. However, this doesn't mean that there's no place for technology in our world. Just that to ensure our own survival we have the responsibilty for its evolution. Technology is in fact part of, and a massive make or break factor in, our own natural selection.
It's refreshing to know that most consumers are already aware of this and would like to do what they can. Also that technology companies are increasingly taking more actions that directly involve the consumer, offering them something they want and allowing them to take the action they would like to take.
I think that my vcam hints sufficiantly that this is something they can look into and do something about.
