Motorcycle Jump Beats World Record

After the recent death of daredevil legend Evil Kinevil, you'd think putting your body through the same traumas that no doubt caused his death might not be the best idea.
Evidently not for Robbie Maddison, who beat the world record yesterday for the longest motorcycle jump in the United States. His second jump broke the record with a 98.15 metre jump at Las Vegas's Rio Casino Hotel, smashing Trigger Gumm's 2005 jump of 84.43 metres.
Maddison is now looking forward to trying to jump 121 metres, with him saying 'I know I'm definitely going to do it," pretty brave words for a man who compares jumping obscene distances to playing Russian roulette, saying "...you've got to be prepared to die to take on this challenge."
