We believe that challenging convention is a good and necessary thing in order to make better choices available to us all. We’re on a journey to find ways to provide choices that are better for you and for the planet. As an example, we've started using solar energy instead of fossil fuel to help make SunChips® snacks in our factory in Modesto, California.

Most recently, we’ve launched our new 100% compostable chip bag made from plants. Every 10.5 oz. SunChips® package is designed to fully break down in just 14 weeks when placed in a hot, active compost bin or pile. We hope that you’ll see what we see: Change is Irresistible.

Your Assignment: Change is Irresistible

Help SunChips® inspire others to see that taking small steps towards making positive change is important for the prosperity of our planet. Use the new SunChips® 100% compostable bag, made from plants, as the example to inspire others to make changes for a brighter tomorrow.

• The result of your VCAM should feel powerful, provocative, positive, aspirational, and action-oriented (not confrontational).
• Your VCAM should inspire individuals to action (not corporations)

Upload deadline: Thursday, April 8th at 12pm (noon) PT.


Mandatories

• Use the SunChips® compostable bag (VCAMs that use other SunChips® products will not be selected for air).
• Use the SunChips® endtag provided below.
• :30 second spot maximum including endtag
• Refer to www.sunchips.com for more information on our compostable packaging.
• You must have the rights to all images and music used in your VCAM. Do not incorporate assets from other websites (including “royalty-free” sites) or any 3rd-party logos (e.g. soda, alcohol, cars, etc).

How to get the new SunChips® Compostable Bag:

• SunChips® compostable bag can be purchased at Walmart, Kroger, and Safeway.
• Current will send you a compostable bag of SunChips® for your VCAM if you fill out your contact information here by March 14. Considering that you may not receive the SunChips® bag until a week or two before the VCAM deadline, we recommend that you purchase the SunChips® bag early and get started!

Legal Requirements

• Please obtain a signed release for every individual appearing in your VCAM even if they are in the background and/or not recognizable.
• Please obtain a signed release for every individual who worked on your VCAM.
• Please obtain a signed location release for each location featured in your VCAM even if such location is not recognizable (e.g. interior shots in a residence).
• You must have the rights to all images and music used in your VCAM. Do not incorporate assets from other websites, including “royalty-free” sites, or any 3rd-party products or logos. Ensure those who appear in your VCAM are not wearing any apparel featuring 3rd-party logos or copyrighted designs.
