Dear Music Industry:

I'll let this Gizmodo article finish that sentence for you. *snicker*

Here's the deal: music royalty groups want performance fees for short previews of the songs people might actually buy if they like what they hear in the preview. You know, like on iTunes. If that's not fuzzy logic, I don't know what is. People preview music because they intend to pay money if all goes well.

Gizmodo's Adam Frucci is right- ASCAP and BMI, you're really, really doing it wrong.
