The Pentagon will open unused military space to create a "Thanksgiving express lane" for commericial airliners, next week from Wednesday through Sunday. This plan will also be in operation for the Christmas travel season.
Now if he could only do something about traffic on the highways, poverty, education, health care ...

I am traveling next week. I think it is great the President Bush has taken the initiative on this issue. My family is not the only one that will benifet from an easier holiday travel this year. Spending time with loved ones is one of the most important things in life to me.

While I completlely agree, holiday travel congestion is about the last thing that Bush needs to be thinking about right now, I'm pretty pleased about it since my mother is coming to California and I haven't seen her in 5 months. Really though, I think there are a few more pressing issues he should be paying attention to....
