Our society and especially America has driven itself into irreversible harm to where a real apocalypse looms on the horizon, not from a foreign enemy, not from nuclear war (though that too is possible). No the coming end will be caused by our day to day living policies of consumption, ignorance, and pure stupidity mostly at the hands of the "educated" who manage things.
