Sam's Club to cut 10K jobs - Real Recovery

If you think you're in danger of losing your job at Sam's Club or you know anyone who is - let us know. Also, if you've ever worked at Sam's Club and can tell us more about the position, we'd love to know that too.

The story is this: Sam's Club, the giant retail warehouse chained owned by Wal Mart sent a letter to its employees saying they were about to cut over 10,000 jobs. Mostly part time product-demonstration jobs. Bad news for a sector of the workforce that has already been battered by job loss and lower salaries.

I'll be writing up something in more detail on the News Blog today - but I wanted to see if anyone out there could shed some light for us on who was going to be affected.

    • yall dont listen, its over man the dollar will die by end of the year then civil war will break out cause the money is gone and your bank accounts aint going to be worth garbage. it will be order out of caos hell it says that on the back of your dollar. Then martial law to start and off to your fema camps. You people better wake up and get your conscious awareness up. time to upload your dna. if you conscious you will feel it. i have more melanin than most so i see the future and i wont be here. I wish everyone the best but you people who have hate in your heart and racist jealous just plain evil people you will get what you deserve here. This is the end of this earth. Mother earth has to cleanse herself from all the hatred and poison. Theres water everywhere but none to drink. think about it. peace out i give it to you blood raw/it is what it is. You better change and have love for all hummanity or you will suffer in the coming years.

    • My husband works for Sam's as an overnight stocker. He worked at Walmart as a lead in overnight stocking but couldn't handle the stress (made him constantly depressed and anxiety ridden) so he stepped down and moved to Sam's. He loves it now, such a better environment.

      We haven't heard anything about him losing his job... hopefully we won't.
