Great Depression II: Millions to Stay Unemployed for Years

Call them the new poor: people long accustomed to the comforts of middle-class life who are now relying on public assistance for the first time in their lives — potentially for years to come."
more at link...
Most of the time the mainstream likes to sugar coat the truth, but every now and then the elite media (owned and controlled by the NWO) loves to put one in the public's face. They get off on it, plus they test how stupid we are to just sit and take it. Still, check out the modifier in the opening sentence "Even as the American economy shows tentative signs of a rebound..." What rebound? They just blatantly stated that millions won't get jobs for years.
Its funny how language alters perception. They don't use the term, 'Depression', because being depressed is sad. Recess, on the other hand, is fun. Remember when you had recess in elementary school; I bet that was your favorite time in school. So, instead of being in a Depression, we may encounter a "double-dip recession." What a joke!
Its no coincidence that Depression-chic is coming back en vouge. The social engineers are very skilled at setting the scene. That's why so many in my generation, late 20's, early 30's are still in perpetual childhood, as the culture regurgitates their favorite childhood cartoons and toys in the new media. This is how they brainwash the average, male 30 year old, who's in a mountain of debt, with a degree and without a job: as long as their team wins, they're favorite cartoons are remade into blockbusters and they can drink beer and play video games, they may be less inclined to fight for their rights or freedoms...even if they're still living in their parents house, not getting laid. Wake up flakes.
The only jobs created is for a bunch of government NARCs, sucking off the teet of the gov't, expanding the socialist-welfare state. And just as Wall Street crashed the market in the 20's to bring in their socialist-puppet FDR, they did the same in '08 to bring in their Manchurian Candidate puppet, Obama. I bought the change bit too, but fool me once shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. History is repeating in our face; its a cycle almost completely controlled by the New World Order.

Let's see now, when was the stimulus package and tarp funding initiated? & what party had control of the house and senate for the last 3+ years?
It is not that the US cannot spend its way into prosperity if it had actual money backed with other than the "good faith and Credit of the U.S. Government - but NOT with printing money borrowed from "projected" future revenues {which will be realized - just exactly when?} to pay for todays sins.

Just as predicted the second great Republican depression is upon us! It will take over a decade too correct the ills of the working class, and good luck ever seeing a middle class again. And for those that are now saying it's Obama's depression, guess again you haven't been paying attention. 30 Years of Reagan economics and tax cuts for the wealthy has got us to where we are. One year in office and the idiots are blaming the Black guy.

kenny, I'm old enough to remember the Reagan days and Democrats raised HOLY HELL when RR had an 80 Billion dollar deficit. Which INCLUDED the MOST prolific rearmorment of our military since WWll due to the decimation it suffered from the Viet-Nam war (started by a Democrat) and the Carter (Democrat) "misery index" years which directly lead to the fall of the Soviet Union. Who do you think built these armorments? Middle-class Union workers, machinists, shipyards, steel workers etc.
I did not agree with the original Bush bailout, that BO approved of and voted for so he is just as much to blame. NOR did I support the unneeded "Stimulus" or the coming JOBS BILL. They still haven't spent the 1st stimulus $$$. They are just trying to topple the system by overwhelming us with debt.
" First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the “Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse. BZZZZZZZZZ, WRONG, now with the advent of the internet, for investing off shore, raising taxes will cause the $$$ to go flying right out of the country, along with most of the rich who have the ability to habitate ANYWHERE they please. Then, who will pay for the fools to eat (food stamps)and have a roof over their heads (section 8 housing)?????????
Well, if you knew your civics, the Congress writes ALL spending bills, who was in charge of congress when Reagan was in office, Dems. Judging by the graph, under a Repug. congress who vowed to balance the budget with the "Contract for America" WJ Clinton ALMOST reduced the debt via "peace dividends" by cutting defense spending after the fall of the Soviet empire.
I know, I know, you will find some illogical way to explain this away that fits Liberal revisionist theory but I am going to do something I virtually NEVER hear Liberals do, (calling current Liberal, a Liberal is a bastardization of the language because they do not reflect anything CLOSE to Liberty) I will say the Republicans were WRONG. The Republicans and GWBush were WRONG to go on the "drunken sailor" spending spree they engaged in. This includes prescription drugs, welfare for illegals, TARP etc. You see these were LIBERAL programs. But I don't think I have EVER heard a Liberal admit they were wrong or other Liberals were wrong and THAT is how we got here.
We are broke, this graph does not even include the additional 2.5 TRILLION Obama just spent!!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_public_debt
The only saving grace is was that during the 90's-00's the GDP was high so we had the ability to pay because the economy was humming. When they update the graphs to reflect current absurd spending and plummeting GDP, we will be in for a shock.
Another thing these graphs DON'T reflect is our LIABILITIES, we were using Social Security and Medicare to pad the General Fund. Now that all the Lib. fools voted for the party (DEMS) that constantly referred to the SS "lock box" and believed it, we have unfunded liabilities of $106 TRILLION dollars for SS and Medicare. The TOTAL NET WORTH OF THE COUNTRY IS ESTIMATED BY THE FED TO BE $51.5 TRILLION.
Better buy gold

And you kennymo have a death-lock on blind partisan ignorance...
You think the Republicans have been responsible for societal and economic damages? It is the Democrats who have been in control of Congress for years.
The social programs such as Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, welfare are responsible for taking much out of your paycheck each month were created by, and continue to receive strong support from, radical Democrats.
The subprime mortgage fiasco was created by Democrats under Clinton’s tenure, who strongarmed lenders to ignore the formula that had worked for years and, instead, lend money to people who were unqualified. This was documented in Newsweek magazine in 1999, before GWB, so don’t blame it on him.
And, if you haven’t noticed, the current POTUS is a closet socialist who has committed trillions of dollars to programs that our nation cannot afford to fund, and he is partly responsible for the incredible decline of the American dollar abroad.
Instead of putting money back in your pocket, he is robbing you, your children, and your grandchildren. . Just wait–it will get worse. It’s time for you to wake up and reassess what it is you think you believe. - 1 year ago

The country was doing quite well with the 91% tax rate after the first 3.4 million that millionaires were making and the rest of their profit went back into the business and higher wages for the workers. You see since you were not around during a real Republican President in Eisenhower you have been led like so many of your ilk down the prim rose lane thinking it's your money! Since you like to keep throwing up Eisenhower here are some of his thoughts on what you keep spouting:
A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both.
If you want total security, go to prison. There you're fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking... is freedom.
Here in America we are descended in blood and in spirit from revolutionists and rebels - men and women who dare to dissent from accepted doctrine. As their heirs, may we never confuse honest dissent with disloyal subversion.

No, you have a problem with reading comprehension. Obviously a product of those stellar MoTown (Liberal hell hole like most liberal places) schools. I said "The 91% top tax rate included HUNDREDs of deductions that allowed the rich to avoid virtually all taxation."
Maybe you are one of the 50% who don't pay taxes, so let me explain. You pay taxes on what you make AFTER deductions. If you can come up with enough deductions, NO taxes.
The rich can afford very smart accountants and tax planners and can afford to make investments that avoid taxes. Take for example, Mr. Kerry, the Ass senator, I mean Mass. senator:
"According to Slate (a very liberal) magazine, George W. Bush has a net worth of around $9 million to $26 million, and John Kerry has a net worth of about $165 million to $626 million....
OK heres how it works, Mr Kerry has lots of money, the year he was running for POTA, his last available records showed income of about $5,000,000. His nominal tax rate, the % he actually paid was 12% on $5million. OK now, my family upper middle class make UNDER $150,000 OUR tax rate after deductions was 20%. Now, how exactly is that fair?
You see he has more deductions, his investments are in TAX FREE investments or depreciable investments to reduce his TAXABLE income.
NOW, Ronald Reagan, the dude u got a hard-on for, what he did was propose to LOWER the tax rates and ELIMINATE alot of deductions, such as credit card interest to name one. So what he was trying to do was FORCE the ultra-rich to pay more in taxes.
BTW, how is it Kerry had a net worth AT LEAST 5x's George Bush's but GB was the spoiled rich kid?

There you go again, talking about tax deductions from just the last 2 decades and avoiding the topic I was talking about the Eisenhower administration, and you have failed to show what in the hell your talking about in deductions back in the 50s. You can't name them, it's just like back in those days the CEOs made maybe tops 30 times more than the lowest payed employees and were brought up through the ranks of the company and had probably 20 or 30 years with the same company. Today it's around 600 times more than the lowest paid employee. Back to the huge lie you keep trying to assert about the tax avoiding deductions in the 50s for the Rich, please show them to me or get off this topic and find some fool that will believe you.

#1 - You still did not explain why Mr Kerry, who has a net worth about 1,000x's mine, an INCOME of 75x's mine and a "public servant" has a lower nominal tax rate (% - percentage - for those educated in our failing liberal public schools). I knew that Mr Kerry was a gold digger too. No reason to call names - except that applies to Liberal rule book rule #3, when losing a debate slander and call names.
#2 - Have you ever heard of the ALTERNATIVE MINIMUM TAX? It was a tax started in 1969 (AFTER we lower top tax rates from 91% to 70% - more on this later) to tax super rich who were not paying taxes:
"The AMT was introduced by the Tax Reform Act of 1969[1] and became operative in 1970. It was intended to target 155 high-income households that had been eligible for so many tax benefits that they owed little or no income tax under the tax code of the time.[2]"- Wikipedia
Here is also a note from Wiki;
"In 1986, when President Ronald Reagan and both parties on Capitol Hill agreed to a major change in the tax system, the law was subtly changed to aim at a wholly different set of deductions, the ones that everyone gets, like the personal exemption, state and local taxes, the standard deduction, certain expenses like union dues and even some medical costs for the seriously ill. At the same time it removed and revised some of the exotic investment deductions. A law for untaxed rich investors was refocused on families who own their homes in high tax states."[4]
Like I said, Ronald Regan INCREASED taxes on the super rich by eliminating their deductions.
Here is a link showing the top marginal tax rates (%) since 1913.
http://www.truthandpolitics.org/top-rates.php#fn-7
If you will notice the rate was dropped from 91% to 77 then 70% in the 60's under whoooooo? Favorite of Democrats everywheeeere..........NONE OTHER THAN JFKKKKKKKK!!! and LBJ. (As a side note I will add that this was while fighing a war - Viet Nam that DEMOCRATS started.) You see if JFK were alive now, he would be a radical right wing whack job standing for lower taxes and a strong defense.
Look, I understand how some Liberals view things. I use to be a Democrat (a conservative one) too, as was RonaldousMagmus (until we saw the light). So I understand you see injustice, disparity and want to correct it, its a noble thing. However, many times liberalism causes delusions and irrationality. Its' the Robin Hood syndrome, "take from the rich and give to the poor" is what we are taught in school. However, if you READ the story, Robin Hood's arch nemesis was WHOOOOOOOO? THE SHERIFF of Nottingham, COLLECTING TAXES (IRS), stealing property (iminate domain) - just for you kenny, I will spell that out for you - IT WAS THE F'N GOVERNMENT overcharging/stealing from the people!!!!!!!!!
Here is a quick Robin Hood refresher if you care to read:
http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/lucyjack/robinhood/story.html
This is why the founding fathers set up the strong personal property rights and right to keep and bear arms. It was for protection against a radical, overreaching GOVERNMENT!!
When the government fears the people there is liberty; when the people fear the government there is tyranny.
Thomas JeffersonAnd for you Kenny, I mean this with the best of intentions,
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think.- Adolf Hitler
“The press should be not only a collective propagandist and a collective agitator, but also a collective organizer of the masses (SEIU, ACORN, BARACK OBAMA)” - Vladimir Lenin
“When there is state there can be no freedom, but when there is freedom there will be no state.” - Vladimir Lenin
So basically it comes down to this. If you are a Communist, that's fine. Just say so and I will quit trying to convince you OR if you are an unreformed Democrat, like I was, I'll continue to try and help you. The Democrat party is no longer the party of my father's, BIG fan of JFK. It has been hijacked by radicals and Communists but the American ppl have their heads up their American Idol and can't see it.

Bitch all you want but without the "Manchurian Candidate puppet, Obama" you'd be breaking up your furniture to keep warm. No one, including me, wanted the bailout. But the more I learned what was going on, the more I understood that BUSH had no choice to keep the economy from a complete meltdown. Remember it was Bush that approved the 700 billion demanded by Paulson, not Obama. It was Bush that caused millions of jobs to be lost, not Obama. So not only have you de-facto, misplaced the blame for the economic meltdown (historical revisionism at it's finest), you are accusing a man, who has been in office for just over one year for not correcting something it to the Bushies eight years to create.
Another thing you neglected to mention that I heard on NPR this morning is that the rebound includes 3% growth a year and 100,000 new jobs a month. Granted it doesn't seem like much since the Bushies caused tens of millions of lost jobs.
I was upset when I found out that banks and financial institutions were pushing against Obama to avoid reigning in the crazy policies that caused the meltdown. However, if you understand Washington politics and the GOP non-policy of "no" you can see that this was allowed largely due to Republican intervention at the behest of their corporate masters and lobbyists. At this point, only a dictator could force the GOP and the corporate oligarchy to yield, no one else.
So here we are, hostages to a minority party in congress representing their corporate masters who keep shipping jobs overseas while sucking up tax breaks. And there you are accusing an administration for not being able to create jobs and make the Bush mess go away at will. Welcome to corporate Americas Matrix. Next time take you should try taking the red pill.

See, that's what I love about LIBS. YOU JUST DON'T GET IT. There will be NO gov't supported social net anymore! Europe is broke, the US is broke. When the gov't is BROKE, IT CAN'T PAY THE BILLS, they print more money which drives the value of the money down even more. THEN the following happens - rampant HYPERinflation like in Zimbabwe:

That article refers to what is going to happen here! Are you old enough to remember the collapse of the Soviet Union? PPL will starve in this country cause loaf of bread could cost a MILLION DOLLARS! Or we will just revert to a barter system and the govt will have ZERO money coming in to pay the bills NO SOCIAL SAFETY NET THEN!
But you know what? You are prob'ly a product of Gov't schools so you still won't get it! You will just say "ITS BUSH'S FAULT" - "OBAMA MY SAVIOR" and that will not fill your stomach. Libs just don't understand, we are at the end of a GIANT ponzi scheme and the pyramid is about to come crashing down. It's OUR fault for allowing "PROGRESSIVES", R's and D's to be in power.

Typical Liberal,
Liberal Rulebook:
#1) Ignore the facts,
#2) Blame Bush
#3) When losing a debate, immediately start calling names, slandering and defaming.
#4) If #3 does not work, start again at #1 louder, with more venom and hatred!!!

It's not going to take 20 years and there won't be any wildlife left to hunt . When I was a kid 30 years ago you NEVER saw a deer in Kansas even growing up on a farm. Now they are plentiful because we regulate what is harvested. Same for wild turkey. When you have to eat them for food, they will not reproduce fast enough for consumption.

I can just see this depression being used as yet another photo-op. Larry Summers announces the administration is creating 500,000 shovel ready government jobs! Obama goes out and poses for pictures, holding a shovel and smiling, while he breaks ground digging ditches in middle of nowhere with the once proud former middle class.

Cant say I agree with that, The railroad I work for laid off another 200 people this week in the mechanical dept alone and more cuts are coming next week.
I dont even think they get counted in the list of people unemployed because they dont get federal unemployment they get railroad unemployment. They have laid off over 500 people in the mechanical department since the first of the year
