Over on her blog writer Meg Gardiner proudly writes that she's -- 'lying for a living.'
And she's damn good at what she does.
Talking books let's examine -- 'a little lie' that supposedly snowballed into -- 'a publishing scandal' -- it got books being violently pulled off the shelves. There's a (fake) -- media uproar.
Really? In whose eyes exactly (can you introduce to the upset parties please)? I personally couldn't be bothered less about it...
"Mr. Rosenblat’s memoir was pulled before it was ever published and therefore never had the chance to be a candidate for Ms. Winfrey’s book club," says the NY Times. Adding that viewers take "the fabrication — and Ms. Winfrey’s endorsement of it — personally." -- as if Oprah wrote the book herself.
