    • I wonder if Nick actually feels 'good' about doing this piece. I suspect the piece was done more for Nick's sake than to tell Aileen's story. And I'm sure, as Aileen indicated, Nick, like so many, profited from her suffering. It is a shame that Nick still insisted on her insanity because of his need to have the answer he wanted rather than listen to who she was what she had to say. It was especially sad to see that during that last interview, in spite of Aileen placing obviously misguided trust in Nick, that Nick decided to continue to press on in pursuit of the answers he wanted. How shameful to continue to plague her with your own personal desires during those last hours of her life on earth, stealing some of those last breaths to give them to anger rather than just let her tell what she wanted to tell. Maybe, just maybe he really did have somethign to say.....but it's too late now. The real story is lost for the storyteller.
