TV Free Burning Man is the first pirate TV station capable of reaching 52 million homes world wide by taking over the airwaves of Current TV. Throughout the week long Burning Man event held in the Black Rock Desert, NV, participants are empowered to take the media messages coming out of Burning Man into their own hands - literally.
Broadcasting in real time, TV Free Burning Man aims to capture the essence of this annual festival dedicated to radical self expression and self reliance through the eyes of those who attend.
Coverage includes multiple pods and video "Postcards from the Playa" that are beamed via satellite from the event each day as well as live, commercial free coverage of the event's signature happening, the burning of the Man.
