    • He sure didn't mind Big Government Spending when he took $15 billion in aid for Katrina, of which he made certain his own friends and family got the bulk of the contracts and which he funneled the majority of the money to casinos and the wealthy. This was after he waived a HUD requirement that at least 70% of the funds go to people with low to moderate incomes. His nephew's wife's company received almost $300 million in contracts for Katrina clean-up. He also had to qualms about making certain Big Tobacco got Big Money, even eliminating the state's successful youth tobacco-prevention group.

      I guess corruption and cronyism are fine - if you're a Republican.
