Special Comment: By kennymotown
For far too long a disease has enveloped our Country's Democracy! Yes, that disease is GREED! It's taken the form of sociopathic behavior and in many cases has brought our Democracy to near collapse. The sociopaths I speak of sit in boardrooms at Corporate head quarters across our country and in some cases other country's. I am not talking of small Corporations or public serving Corporations, but Corporations like the Koch Brothers head. So self serving are the Brothers GREED, that they are so diseased to the point they no longer know how ridiculous they look! Perhaps we should thank them for finally exposing what has been going on in this country for decades.
Just like history tells us of the Robber Baron's of the early 20th century, these kinds of power hungry individuals have totally forsaken the Commons that was the basis of our founding as a nation.
You Sirs have no decency left, just as the five Supreme Court Justices that ruled in favor of the Citizen's United case in 2010 giving Corporations even more power than the average citizen.
Over reaching is easily done when you have bought and paid for politicians after politicians and 5 Supreme Court Justices. Gloating and taking Liberty's away from the every citizen is a glaring symptom of your disease!
In conclusion I would like to mention your GREED is being dealt with on many fronts. So live it up while you can, and by all means seek therapy for your disease if you can get past your incredible EGO's.
P.S. Keith Olbermann hurry back, you do this much better than I.

wow - great post, great timing, kennymo! ...as usual!
The US sociopath epidemic does need to be addressed out in the open and discussed enough to alert people to it so they will know the behavior when they see it! Treatment does not help the worst cases (Kaddafi). This may be a good resource to read and keep in mind as we watch current events and politicians (local, state, and national), banksters, hedge-fund managers, bad-dads/moms, dictators, religious leaders, actors, corporate heads, talking heads, coaches & athletes, community leaders, et all:
a sampling of what is written there:
"...narcissistic sociopaths or sociopaths with narcissistic traits .... do not want to be helped. Such people often tend to be highly manipulative and without any shred of remorse for their actions, even if their actions have harmed others who are close to them or their family members. There is nothing that can stop a narcissistic sociopath from achieving his goals. He makes use of all his charm which is highly superficial and intellect in order to attain his goals by any means possible. Such people often think that they are above all and they do not really care if anyone disagrees with them."
Remind you of anyone? Look past Charlie - there are calmer and quieter examples. Even some trolls exhibit this behavior online.
If someone has to blow out your candle to prove who they are? Heads up! Pay attention. (This can even be applied to a political party!)

its more than just greed though.. its actual coveting.. to want what someone else has and deprive them of it.. if they were just greedy they would be alright with everyone being happy and fat, they want just the elite to have it all.. thats what we need to open it all up, and hopefully here on current and at opensourceworld.us we can do just that!

Well put kennymotown, times like these require serious thought. I was watching Melissa Harris-Lacewell on Keith's show before the "man" terminated it. Melissa is a brilliant sociologist and she was lecturing as if she was in front of one of her classes. She spoke about the GOP and their claim to "Patriotism". The fact is that they are not "Patriots" they are "Traitors" betraying the trust of the American people. They are con artist criminals of the highest order with absolutely no conscience and no remorse.

my dad was a politician. he always said a close election was determined in the last 24 hours before the polls closed; that's when the dirt use to fly the most - so no one could defend themselves or repair damage. Now the dirt flies constantly and repeatedly. One thing that worked then and still works now is: "It's all in their emotions: first you have to scare them, then you make them angry...and if you can keep the opposition from giving them comfort and security -knowledge- before the polls close, they are in the palm of you hand."
We absolutely must do more than we think we can do to get the vote out in 2012. We have to. We must walk like Egyptians!

Enough is Enough........time to toss all these bought and paid for SOB's out of our Supreme Court and any and all Government jobs......be it state or national!Support all Recall efforts....take the Koch's power away.
"Thomas and Scalia have flouted ethics rules by attending seminars sponsored by Koch Industries, an energy and manufacturing conglomerate run by billionaire brothers that has donated more than $100 million to far-right causes.
The 5-to-4 Citizens United decision last January gave corporations, foreign contributors, unions, Big Energy, Big Oil and superrich conservatives a green light to surreptitiously funnel in as much money as they want, whenever they want to elect or unelect candidates. As if that weren’t enough to breed corruption, Thomas was the only justice — in a rare case of detaching his hip from Antonin Scalia’s — to write a separate opinion calling for an end to donor disclosures."http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/24/opinion/24dowd.html?src=me&ref=general

Here's something i remembered reading back in 2002:
Kurt Vonnegut turned 80 in 2002
He was interviewed by Roger Friedman on the occasion:http://www.vonnegutweb.com/vonnegutia/interviews/int_fox.html
At one point in the interview, Vonnegut talked about and
suggested that psychopathic personalities lead corporations
at least the ones who nakedly do not care about the
consequences of their actions.(i say include Richard Bruce “Dick” Cheney in that profile)
