lol @ this piece of crap. Yea, a cop on a bike magically snuck up to a group of protestors, and decided let me do a full on flip over my bike, land on my head then hit some banner, that’ll teach them. Also, don't get touchy feely with an officer, it will never end good for you.

The cop is allowed to follow along, that's what happens when people get permits to march. Oh and the permit thing, yea, they didn't have one. It's also illegal to curse at a cop, always been that way, so that’s another no no. Berating them won't get you anywhere either. Also yelling at people when you walk by, especially angrily, won't help your peaceful protest because the people watching it won’t see it as very peaceful.

Ohh and I love the "you can get killed protesting" because this is evidence, lots of people dieing in this video. Yea, you can get killed, but it's when the group of assholes you’re with end up getting the 'mob mentality' and start throwing things and breaking shit, that's when people get killed.

BTW I am from the newly appointed most corrupt state in the US. Korrupticut, I mean Connecticut. We are also the home of the 1st State Police Department which rwe really do not even need. The state police operate as revenue collectors i.e. tickets etc. We are being raped by state governments, we are not being properly represented. The times we live in are getting worse in regard to freedom. I will NOT sacrifice my freedoms because of the acts caused by terrorism. The events happeneing in the U.S. are exactly what the anti-U.S. persons want.

I see the problem of a police state as well. I also have the answer and a start as to taking back control. We, the people need to take control by first not using banks to save money. Withdraw every penny from the banks, buy a safe and save your own money. This will hit em all hard. If everyone did this the banks, politicians and corporations would be at our mercy. The idea is to soon bring back actual currency which has been slowly eliminated and to put banks out o business. There is no need for a FEDERAL RESERVE BANK it is unconstitutional. Banks are a fraud.

It's unbelievable that we have not learned anything about freedom from history. That we go to war for other people’s freedom and let ours be eroded by small acts year after year. This isn't just about Bush this has been going on for years. When will it be too much, when will we finally say that is enough. I fear only when it touches each of us individually.

It was a real wake up call to hear you, as someone from another country, bringing light to this issue. I believe that our current government in the US has done more to take away our civil rights than any administration in the past century. In Westfield, NJ this girl was yanked from a crowd behind barriers, and you would have thought they had grabbed a dangerous terrorist. I also saw some frivolous arrest in NY at the worldcantwait action.
the girl in the pic still owes thousands of dollars -for doing NOTHING wrong at all, no civil disobedieance -nothing.

Freedom is just a something else to control for them, just signatures on paper. As long as it takes for them to realize the good intention behind peacefull protest, the longer they will get away with intentional harm.

This was a good idea for a Current Pod, however, i'm not convinced. It just doesn't seem believable to me. The narration is broken and overly scripted. The entire protest and all of the "undercover" cops, could have totally been staged (not saying that they were, only that it seems very possible). I would have liked some type of soundtrack to keep the overall mood a little more tense. Basically, this film brings light to a very real issue, but fails (in my opinion) to be ready for a mass audience.

Well know to the elite, unkown to the sheep. Police are just as corrupt as the scumbags in Washington. Greenlight!

My only question is, why is this not airing all over America? I would like to know if this is happening elsewhere around the country. Our freedoms continue to be taken away from us in the post 9/11 era and the police and politicians are taking advantage of the Patriot Act to reduce our freedoms, mainly the freedom of speech, which is necessary to keep the crooked politicians and thier policies in check.

I like how difficult it is to spot the police bike going into the banner. its almost like he had to sneak infront them behind you in oder to run into them. your commentary provides an important percpective in terms of your experince within pre berlin-wall-down eastern bloc living. i am new to this site but very much look forward to watching more of your content.

its going on all over the usa even here in a little town called hamilton ohio i,m 45 year old ive seen our rights dwindle ever year .this is a police state its big busness.they make money putting u in jail makin false charges .they get in your face make u mess up .i once told a police officer he left his car lights on tryin to be helpful .i got slammed against a wall and checked for warents. if u think you can stop this your crazzy just look at the 60s what they did to those who spoke out.

Now this is the sort of video that makes Current TV current!! It definitely needs to be shown not just on the web but everywhere! It's really interesting when you first look at this video it seems like it's a small pathethic march and then... it morphs into something very sinister! As simply put by some else scary... very scary!

very important footage. my only suggestion would be to get to it faster--the beginning is a bit slow.

I've heard about this kind of "incidents" from my parents (they were telling me about "techniques" communist police used against Polish people) until I actually got it on tape. I was naive believing it would never happen in USA. Now I know it happens everywhere.

I've heard many incidents such as this, where there are undercover officers that infiltrate marches and instigate the crowd and then coming from behind and bashing people and arresting them. I have heard this happened alot during the protests in NY during the GOP convention in '04.

This is phenomenal, I don't think there has ever been a documentary on television that highlights the fact that police sometimes act as agent provacetours; this needs to be seen!
