Babytrapped

 

Babytrapped is a brand-new film that looks at how a young couple cope when the woman unexpectedly falls pregnant after unprotected sex. 

Meet Liam and Nita, a couple who had been going out for a few weeks when they found out a baby was on its way. For Liam the solution was simple: abortion. But Nita had her own ideas about the pregnancy.

Babytrapped is an intimate portrait of two parents-to-be and the fears and difficulties they face in the light of this life-changing event. Exploring two sides of the same coin through tough decisions and gender differences, this film is sure to spark strong feelings about abortion, family and responsibility.

    • I had to watch this in two parts I cringed so much, Liam an extremely unlikable character from the start .Selfish, spoilt, self Involved and utterly clueless.

    • Liam was a total egomaniac, self indulgent, and he no doubt will be a terrible father. Totally no idea dot com! Makes me realise how lucky I am to have what I have!

    • Poor Nina, what a lovely girl and how unfortunate the father of her child is such a selfish, shallow, manipulative and nasty piece of work. Good luck to you Nina, and Liam, grow up.

    • I haven't seen the film yet, but I know these two people well.

      If Liam comes across as selfish, it's because he is. There's something fundamentally broken about him, something missing, and the only small way he seems able to make sense of himself is to aggravate the people around him.
      In his ability to do so, as in his music, I would say he is genuinely gifted.

      He is not well loved.
      Nita, on the other hand, we adore.

    • Liam needs to act like a man take and take full responsibility for his actions. Come across a bit immature & selfish. It's not easy for single-mothers to raise children, although some do a brilliant job.

      Hope it works out for Nita. She seems to be coping despite the travails of having a child.
