and mushroom expert Jake. Once in Ireland, they ignore Jake's warnings about the 'shrooms they shouldn't eat' and things start to go wrong. Afflicted by horrific visions, they can no longer distinguish gruesome apparition from shocking reality and the group is bloodily whittled down to one. Real or not, these visions leave behind a real enough trail of blood.

The marijuana in Reefer Madness is just as fictional as these mushrooms in Shrooms. I relieze that this is based on fiction, but uniformed people wont relieze that the story is fictitious. I wasnt saying that there was a true problem with this movie or that it wont be entertaining or a good movie. I was just making a comment about how some people in society will not be able to nor care to seperate fact from fiction.

yes but reefer madness is about real marijuana, whereas shrooms is about a fictional type of mushroom.

Roswell, I am not missing the point. I realize that this film is fictional, but I also know that fiction weaves its way in with fact. Really this just reminds me of a "Reefer Madness" remake to slander another culture and spiritual belief. Wasnt Reefer Madness fiction due to it all being propaganda? Despite the light that has come upon various myths people still are jaded by the stories lies and exaggerations of what the general population has been lied to and know think that it is the truth.

Thashaman is missing the point, yes there is no such mushroom, but this is a fictional film. I also hated the film, mainly because of its anti-catholic, anti rural community and anti narcotic bias as well as the endless number of cliches, and generally thin plot. check my blog for a full review

Sorry but I find this to be horrible. This is total b.s., there is no mushroom that will give you a bad trip. The trip is all from inside ones self. Maybe the people wo thought this was a good idea should either get informed or start living differently.
