Fair points everybody. I appreciate all the points...
The reason we decided to do this idea was because we were told that Sony wanted something more concept wise and not what alot of people have done (which is just cutting up game footage)
So we were trying to think outside of the box by showing this lone solider...
The graphics were rushed because our graphic designer who was going to help has been really busy...it was either no upload or try something ourselves on Final Cut Pro.
The reason we went with the graffiti on the wall is simply because we didn't want to do the boring thing alot of people might do which is just cutting to the screenshot of the game..

I can see what the others are saying, perhaps look at old
b-movies on you tube to get the feel of that old fasion style of earley movie fxs/look, if you use after fx check

I agree with ejtrent. You don't really know what's happening. As far as a game advertisemtn goes, it's just "Restistance 2" on the wall (with an aptly placed trolley infront). Sound wise, i can see your trying to add drama, but i also get the impression that ther's meant to be a siren sound, which is too electronic and garbles between your auditory tension effects.

I have just read your comment again and you said as far as advertising goes - its just advertising Resistance 2 the game.....
Isn't that the idea of the brief? We dont need to show game footage because Sony don't want that and people who would be veiwing this would already know what Resistance 2 is about because that is our target audience.
I also think that if this was shown to people who don't know what Resistance 2 is about then it will make them think and wonder. It's going to make them download the demo or google the game up to find out what it's all about.
The only downside to this I can see is I wish we could of used a gun instead of a bat....

Dont really get it,
Isn't all that gripping as the whole possessed people thing running at him doesn't really have any sort of pace, footage looks nice but the whole graffiti on the wall thing looks cheesy.
