Ok, first of all, when I first heard the news story in March and they mentioned Laura Ling, I was like:
"Shit! The Vanguard journalist?"
And then Current.com replied
"Yes"
Ok, so the website did not literally reply to my cry of distress, but I think you get the idea. And spending 5-ish months under arrest in North Korea for the pursuit of truth? That's pretty badass. It's nice to see diplomacy and intelligence prevail in your release. I am excited with your return and can't wait to continue to enjoy your journalism.
