The only way forward is a union of nations not like the UN but encompassing every leader of the world. Devoted to the progress of civilisation to a point that we are no longer a burden to the world and each other, where we exist in harmony and are able to explore our own existence free from boundaries.
Consisting of three departments, the ones with the power, the ones with the brains, the ones with the dreams. Power makes the decisions, dreamers find the solution, brains make the solution work.
Example. Dreamers believe that developing Africa's civilisation will improve life for everyone. Its a blank slate that is in dire need of development. Building from the centre outwards, sunlight is the perfect energy source for a developed city of learning, healthcare and greenhouses, a transport system developed by Japanese links the rest of Africa to the Utopia in Ethiopia, a magnet train with capability of speeds in the 1000's mph, using nuclear power if necessary. Transporting those in need to the city and food to areas that need it.
After the crimes inflicted on the African nations by wars and the slave trade we owe these people more than clothes we no longer need, and what little food a few pound a month to charity can buy.
Its a possibility but highly unlikely...
