The Pope goes hi-tech with tradition by switching on the 800 metre-tall tree using a
tablet computer in the Vatican.The huge tree is made of 800 lights and laid out on the
side of Mount Ingino, near the town of Gubbio in central Italy.The pontiff joined the town
by videolink allowing everyone to see the moment when he pressed the tablet to remotely
light the tree.
