Zombie Lit... A Growing Phenom?

In 2003, writer Max Brooks released the book "The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection From The Living Dead". This work included such gruesome and intriguing details from "The Undead: Myths And Realities" to "Living In An Undead World" to even his 64 page "Recorded Attacks" section which contains detailed accounts from all over the world where small, controlled ghoul attacks took place. His books (others include "World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War" and his book "The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks" which builds off of the first of the series' section) created a colorful and downright bloody wave in zombie based literature. Books like "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies", "The Stupidest Angel: A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror" and "Breathers: A Zombie's Lament" have been popping up in Barne's And Nobles and Books & CO. like crazy and have been selling out just as fast. It looks like a new age and era has started in literature just like it did in picture films years ago. Look out writers, here comes the gore.
