PIANORAMA
Most of the damage is repaired in few minutes but some is never repaired . . . serious double DNA breaks can cause cancer and be passed to your children.

A large percentage of the x-rays also miss the target person and are beamed into the open security area and beyond irradiating bystanders and security personnel with direct and scattered x-rays.

    • I do not and will not travel by plane anymore. I made the decision when they started treating people like criminals in the airports that I would not allow myself to be subjected to this crap. If I cannot get there by car or by train (notice I did not add bus,I'd rather walk than ride a bus), I will not go!

    • This is why I don't fly anymore. I think what is going on at our airports is ridiculous and crosses the line.

At high altitudes radiation a person is exposed to only adds to the overall effects that we humans are bombarded with daily. We really cannot hide from it.

It's all around us, both naturally and man-created.

It would be like hiding from air, water and soil.

      It's all around us!

"We're all ready to glow in the dark."

That should make it easier for us when we find ourselves in the dark...?

Being a human "glow in the dark" light source may have it's privileges?

It could save having to buy a Halloween costume in the near future. Radiation Man could be the latest craze.

      Or flashlights.

Just adding a bit of humor to a scary situation that really does exist for all of Mankind. But compared to a "nucular bomb" being detonated by terrorists on our soil, we are speaking of small potatoes in the size of doses we would receive by any other means.

It would truly be a moot point then!

      NLOL
