hmmm, looked it up and I guess there was an even bigger one in Iraq right at the beginning of the war...

Wow. Of course the questions have to be asked: what was all that money doing there? Who knew about it?

according to this article, the median income as of 2004 was $144 (a year???) and I don't imagine it's gotten better since then, So this represents the income of 2 million Iraqis - almost 10% of the population. Is this part of the $9 billion in cash that's "unaccounted for"?

we think it was done by some smart soldiers... American soldiers.. hopefully and if it was good for them.
