What happen to strength in numbers. These puppies are cute too. Not as cute as the chihuahua, but still cute. I think all puppies should come with hearts on them. People too!!

"~ kun （～君）" is used to address men who are younger or the same age as the speaker. A male might address female inferiors by "~ kun," usually in schools or companies. It can be attached to both surnames and given names. It is less polite than "~ san." It isn't used between women or when addressing one's superiors.
(I'm not sure how the heck that applies to a puppy... so this knowledge may be slightly inaccurate or totally useless)

Kun (君, Kun?) is an informal and intimate honorific primarily used towards males (it is still used towards females, but rarely). It is used by persons of senior status in addressing those of junior status, by males of roughly the same age and status when addressing each other, and by anyone in addressing male children. In business settings, women, particularly young women, may also be addressed as kun by older males of senior status. It is sometimes used towards male pets as well.
