Francis Tapon is currently walking the Continental Divide Trail, which runs through the Rocky Mountains from the bottom of New Mexico to the top of Montana. He intends to be the first to yo-yo this trail, or walk it roundtrip. He's almost reached the halfway mark, which will be Waterton Lakes on the US/Canadian border. Keep checking this site for updates on his progress!

    My favorite quotation from the site: "Sometimes the Divide is on a knife edge mountain range or is insanely steep. Hikers are wimps. We're too lazy to carry around all the equipment rock climbers need. We want nice, well graded paths and don't want to die from a catastrophic fall. Dying of hypothermia though, now that's cool. We're good at that."
