Internet radio is not quite dead yet! It looks as though SoundExchange realized that the math involved was something they hadn't considered, and $0.00 is significantly less money per channel than they were currently hauling in... so compromise is definitely a smart idea.

    Ya know, I remember a time when people would do do just about anything to get their song on the radio. Seems like know, people will do anything to get their song off the radio. I'm too old school, I guess.

    Charging the outrageous fees that would put these small time operators out of business is ridiculous.... even worse is the data capturing requirements to track and pay for each song - that alone would make many people shy away from this.... BTW - the guy with the chain next to the suit is a very good friend of mine and heads music for Yahoo
