Forbidden City Starbucks Closes

500,000 angry petitioners get Starbucks to close down a store they'd opened in China's Forbidden City. I'm betting the Paul McCartney CDs were the straw that broke the camel's back.

    • Hip Hip Hooray! I'm glad that Starbucks has left the building-- besides being commercial, I believe it would create litter and just be a bathroom stop for the tourists. Besides, one of the best things I saw when I visited the forbidden city was the **** 4 star (count 'em!) bathroom within its walls! An excellent stop on the tour!
