Just stumbled upon this blog today and love the idea...folks from around the world submit photos/descriptions of the ways they have customized stuff they bought from IKEA to create different kinds of room solutions. I'm planning to do floor-to-ceiling bookshelves in my sitting room one day, and one of these posts almost convinced me to go IKEA! (Almost. I'm still doing custom built-ins.)

They should also have some IKEA food recipes. Am I the only one who is addicted to the Swedish meatballs they have? Yes, I have gone to IKEA just to buy meatballs, meatball gravy, and lingonberry preserves.

Neato. I like to find ways to use ikea objects in ways that they are not intended to be used. This applies to most shelvy items, and their crappy art. I wish I had a photo of the magic boxes I made!
