Nothing is simple anymore... A new National Inelligence Estimate (essentially a summary of all 16 U.S. spy agencies intel) shows that Al Qaeda, particularly in Iraq, is a serious threat against the U.S., and will likely try to attack on our own soil. Critics are saying the Bush administration only declassified this info to bolster their position as debate on our involvement in Iraq continues in Congress. The White House says they'd rather be presenting news about successes in Iraq. Either way, this doesn't look great.

Does anyone still seriously doubt that we are less safe as a result of the Iraq war and that Al Qaeda has only been strengthened by our actions? We might as well have just given the billions spent on the war to Bin Laden...

Theory #568: Not to worry citizens of the USA, when all of this is over, the US government will hire the most respected Al Qaeda members, and pay them lots of money, to make sure we stay in power. Unless they really want ALL of America DOA. Then we're screwed, or, dead, at least. I'm no expert, and if I was, I'd probably be Al Qaeda!
