Since the Giants are in LA to play the Dodgers I figured I'd post this great article from today's LA Times reminiscing about 1997 - Barry's famous (or infamous depending on your pov) pirouette after hitting a home run to propel the Giants to a division title over the Dodgers. After that game, the Dodgers wound up losing seven of their last 11 games, and Bonds finished September by giving the Giants nine homers, 19 RBIs and a final two-game lead for the West Division championship.
