The Budos Band make dirty, sweaty, afrobeat and ethiopian-influenced funk and their second album comes out on 08/07/07 on Daptone. They're a really tight band (straight outta NYC), so if you're into the music of Fela or Mulatu Astatqé (of Broken Flowers fame) you will definitely dig the Budos. If not, check 'em out anyway and maybe you'll find your new fave band.
