In the infamous words of Bart Simpson, "YAAAAAAAAY GOD!" Every year the heavens light up at their best in August for the Perseid meteor shower, and this year is expected to be on of the best producing one or two meteors per minute during peak hours. "It's going to be a great show," said Bill Cooke of NASA's Meteoroid Environment Office. Popcorn anyone? A little more info... Where? The meteors in this shower all appear to emanate from the constellation Perseus. When? The best times to watch will be late night Aug. 12 through dawn Aug. 13.
