Oh lordy. Well, the polyamorists I've known (not many, but some) have some luck but from what I understand it's pretty difficult and EVERYTHING has to be communicated VERY clearly to make sure everyone's on the same page. One person I know who's polyamorous was crushed when his fiancee decided she wasn't. One girl I know is having a commitment ceremony with her married boyfriend soon. She's been with him for five years and it seems like it's good...not sure how the wife feels about it though. Plus I think the girl secretly wants him to leave the wife, which will never happen, in my opinion. Other people seem to make it work great...but it's sure not a choice I'd make. Things can get complicated and messy REAL quick. I have enough on my hands with one guy...more than one would make me actually insane.

This would never work for me, but I could see how some couples with very high tolerance levels, great communication, and low levels of jealously may be able to make it work successfully. I agree with Holly that one guy is enough to handle! Now I'm inclined to read "The Ethical Slut" to dive in further to Easton's P.O.V.

Go on, grab our attention with a great titleI skimmed through "The Ethical Slut" a few years ago. It's interesting reading and actually has some good advice for any kind of couple. But yeah...the poly thing ain't my scene.
