Something is wrong here when one of the richest countries in the world, the one that spends the most on health care, is not able to keep up with other countries, said Dr. Christopher Murray, head of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation.

let's get some universal health care already.

Sicko anyone?

That is because we have more stress, and whether you want to admit it, all the new-age crap about the benefits of 'healing' is true. That crap is not covered by our shitty health care system anyway. Only rich people can afford 'healing' and it's all about money anyways, so, who cares if anyone lives long and healthy lives. Who cares? WHO CARES!?

Lay off the Segway, Professor TerryGranted, the researchers cited universal health care (or lack thereof) as one big factor for the U.S. falling short on life expectancy. But also in that article, Emory University epidemiology prof Paul Terry said that the U.S. "has the resources that allow people to get fat and lazy." He couldn't be referring to the Segway, now, could he?

Then again, the people I see riding Segways (at least in Chicago) are usually quite fit and don't seem out-of-shape. Maybe I've judged too quickly.
