The new 2007 Brilliance BS6 (made in China under the name of Zhonghua) - The test was performed at 40 mph (64 km/h) into a deformable object simulating another car.The head of the driver is supposed to be stopped by the airbag - and not the dashboard. To open the driver's door afterwards, the test crew had to use a crowbar, a tool that first hand witnesses don't have. It is essential that the door can be opened with little force to aid the passengers. The driver would have suffered severe injuries, maybe would have been dead. The car achieved only one of possible five stars in the EuroNCAP rating.
